SENIOR CLINICIAN – INTENSIVE HOME-BASED TREATMENT (IHBT) - Columbus - W Broad St
The Buckeye Ranch is one of Ohio’s leading providers of emotional, behavioral, mental health, and substance abuse services. We work with children and families, many of whom have experienced abuse or neglect, who are facing significant challenges and often multiple stressors.
The Buckeye Ranch is currently seeking a Senior Clinician for our Intensive Home-Based Treatment (IHBT) team.
This new full-time position entails carrying a reduced caseload and leading a small team of clinicians providing Intensive Home-Based Treatment (IHBT) services, which is a new mental health service within Ohio’s Medicaid Behavioral Health Redesign intended to meet the needs of youth with serious emotional disturbances who are at risk of out-of-home placement or are returning home from placement.
The goal of IHBT is to provide the necessary mental health services and supports to enable youth to live in their homes, in the least restrictive, most normative setting possible.
Delivery of IHBT services includes achievement of specific quality metrics and other expectations to ensure fidelity to the overall requirements.
Services are delivered using the Integrative Family and Systems Treatment (I-FAST) approach.
This model includes small caseloads, prescribed intensity during active phase, and is a time-limited treatment experience.
Supervision includes providing clinical guidance, monitoring IHBT program expectations, and serving as back-up for team-based on-call responsibilities.
